Tile

Tile flooring is extremely easy to maintain, affordable, and complimentary to any interior design. There are many different kinds of tiles including, Ceramic tile, Glazed tile, Natural Stone tile, and Porcelain tile.

Ceramic Tile: Ceramic tile is natural and made of clay, minerals and water. Ceramic tile can be glazed or unglazed.

Natural Stone Tiles: These tiles are cut from solid stone blocks and because of this no two pieces are ever exactly the same. Different kinds of natural stone include Granite, Marble, Limestone, Slate, Travertine, and Tumbled Stone. Stone tiles are normally cut in 12”x 12” squares but there are other sizes available. Natural stone remains beautiful and durable for a lifetime and can provide an excellent surface for floors, walls, and countertops.

Porcelain Tile: Porcelain tile is highly resistant to moisture, stains, bacteria, odors and even harsh cleaners because they are denser and less porous than ceramic tile. Porcelain tile comes in a variety of sizes, colors and textures and is available in polished and matte finishes and are highly resistant to staining, scratches and fading.

Glazed Tile: Porcelain and Ceramic tiles may be available in glazed and unglazed options. Glazed tile offers unlimited decorating possibilities and is popular with interior floors. The color and finish of the tile is due to a special glazed coating applied to the body of the tile.

Unglazed Tile: No glazing or coating is applied to unglazed tile. The color is the same on the tile’s face or back which results in very durable tiles that do not show the effects of heavy traffic.
